Student: You need to be a student of the University of Westminster, willing to work voluntarily. Any degree is welcome

Motivated: You need to have the determination and commitment to excellence and are able to work as a team and take initiatives

Availability: You need to be available for a minimum of 10 hours per week

Proficient in Microsoft Office - Word, PowerPoint and Excel, Google - Docs, Slides and Sheets

Our Departments

Business Development

The Business Development department is responsible for helping the organisation grow by acquiring clients, projects and establishing a sustainable customer relationship. The department is responsible for sales, the establishment of partnerships & sponsorships and project acquisition ensuring profitability and growth in the organisation. The successful candidate will be a highly motivated, confident, business-minded person, someone who is able to build and maintain positive relationships with clients and partners. You must be a good sales person with excellent oral and written communication skills and a good decision maker.

International Relations and Enlargements

The International Relations and Enlargement department is responsible for WBC international activities including establishing and maintaining contact with JADE - European Confederation of Junior Enterprises, Embassies, and Partners as well as fostering the JE movement through our Enlargement division in the UK and internationally. We are looking for a candidate who is flexible, a keen multitasker and preferably bilingual.

Human Resources

The Human Recourses department works closely with every consultant and is responsible for creating a safe and friendly environment. Apart from working on the recruitment processes, appraisals of the consultants and overall departments, you will be required to organise events throughout the year for consultants’ professional and personal development. We are looking for a candidate who has strong communication and interpersonal skills as well as organisational skills.

Quality Assurance

The Quality Assurance department is responsible for developing and implementing quality policies, controls, and guidelines including the ISO9001: 2015 international quality management guidelines. Here you will be responsible for making sure the company is operating at its best potential and all departments are compliant with quality standards. You will be responsible for monitoring both departmental and individual consultants' KPIs. Also, consultants will be required to provide a quality report at the end of each project. We welcome anyone with confidence, excellent technical and numerical skills.

Law

The Law department aims to provide WBC with legal assistance for the administrative subjects, ensuring that the organisation is in compliance with the most updated regulation. It works closely with the other departments in order to draw up and revise any document containing legal aspects, so that always safeguarding the best interests of WBC. We are looking for a candidate who is willing to learn, however, future consultant should also be ready to challenge and discuss standpoints, with legal support, to obtain the most accurate and deepest outcomes. Hence, confidence, good research and ability to accomplish different tasks are valuable characteristics for the Law department.

Research & Development

The Research and Development department is responsible for developing frameworks; creating a book of best practices and assessing and improving the processes of operations across all departments within the organisation. Our frameworks and process documents serve as a guide for consultants to follow thereby making the organisation more efficient in its operations. The successful candidate will exhibit excellent research skills, ability to find data from multiple sources, have good oral and written skills.

Event Management

The Event Management department focuses on the organisation of several internal and external events. These are used to raise the brand awareness within the university and also within the professional landscape. External events include panel discussions, corporate speakers, etc. This requires you to contact potential speakers and sponsors, while also creating budget proposals for the events and identify engaging topics. This department requires you to be very organised and work independently, as well as being a proactive and open-minded person.

Marketing

The Marketing department is responsible for creating content for the social media channels, design marketing materials to promote the services of WBC and raise the awareness of the brand through various other means. It is important to be able to work independently in the department and present your ideas effectively. The creation of marketing material can have multiple purposes such as promoting events hosted by WBC, as well as creating engaging marketing material to help to sell the services to potential clients. It is vital that the materials are up to a professional standard, representing the brand and increasing the brand awareness.

Information Technology

The digital revolution that we are witnessing especially with technologies such as artificial intelligence and machine learning offer business and organisations numerous ways to reach local and distant markets, which opens new avenues to maximise their profits and increase their efficiency. In the IT department our aim will be to facilitate this digital adoption and transformation, and aid businesses in meeting the demands of their customers in a more efficient and faster manner.
