What is a Junior Enterprise?

A Junior Enterprise is a non-profit organisation, formed and managed exclusively by university students, which provides services for companies, institutions, and individuals. Junior Enterprises are similar to real companies, with the main goal of enhancing the learning of their members through practical experiences.

JADE and the JE Movement

JADE is an umbrella organisation that represents more than 28,000 students coming from 330 student-run businesses, also known as Junior Enterprises, across 15 European countries. On a yearly base, junior entrepreneurs work on 4350 consulting projects which accumulate to a total turnover of 15M€. At the core, the JE network bridges the gap between academia and the business environment. With a proactive mindset, junior entrepreneurs constantly make a significant impact on the local and international businesses that benefit students, universities, SMEs and other stakeholders.
